Lesson Plans
Our lesson plans are designed with the dual purpose of meeting the needs of an outcomes-based curriculum, as well as creating awareness with regards the characteristics, significance and plight of indigenous raptors. They incorporate learning outcomes and assessment standards applicable to the knowledge, skills and values needing to be imparted according to the various learning areas of the national curriculum.
The intention is to approach core knowledge/concepts from a cross-curricular perspective using a ‘bird of prey’ context. The lesson plans further aim to equip the educator with the necessary education tools for sharing the relevant information as well as to empower the learner with a deeper understanding of birds of prey that can be effectively applied to their own life-worlds.

Venis & Adonis
In Shakespeare’s play he describes a passionate kiss most violently:"Even as an empty eagle, sharp by fast,
Tires with her beak on feathers flesh and bone,
Shaking her wings, devouring all in haste,
Till either gorge be stuff’d or prey be gone."
